Thornton Road, Heald Green. What was it about it? An unassuming suburban road, but every resident who went to St. Oggs was made head boy. Two Barnicotts, a Tweedie and a blond bloke whose name I aplogise for not rembering. I know that three were dishonourably discharged from office, but what did they have that me and my bro Kevin, living in the next road, did not have?
