It's 39 years since I started at Augustine's.
And, miracle of miracles, last week for the first time ever, something I learnt actually came in useful.
I was doing a crossword, and the clue was about "glacial deposits" and I got the answer "morrain" It took me right back to Bamber's classes in 5th year.
I honestly can't think of another instant where, apart from achieving a paper qualification, the stuff I learnt has served any purpose.
