Password was introduced to deter entries from persistent non-augustinian wasters with no interest in StA whatsoever. I've no doubt that there are plenty more of this entity in cyberspace, so I personally would have some reservations re removing passsword requirement.
Is this the real reason the board has quietened down or have we run out of things to say?
If we stick to reminiscences about StA then this is a finite decreasing entity.
Do we want to broaden the topics of discussion?
Will we simply acknowledge the website as a gravestone epitaph to what was St Augustine's Grammar School?
Do we accept that it's OK to keep quiet if there is nothing to say?
- not one of *my* strong points, colleagues tell me! ;-)

: ive not been on the website for sometime but have been aware of the password. I wonder if whilst its introduction was necessary at the time, that it may now be removed? it may be stopping contributions from genuine augustinians who maybe want to remain anonymous? this of course could be done in the visitors book but thats not as interactive is it?
: just a thought!
