ST. AUGUSTINES
GRAMMAR SCHOOL
|
1st November 1972
My dear Parents,
Permit me to inform you of the arrangements for the annual Buffet Dance. Most of you will recall that the last one was held on 3rd December last year. This year we propose to hold the Dance the fourth in our history on friday, 8th December, 1972. There will be dancing from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., and music will be provided by two bands, one large and one small. There will be a licensed bar from 8 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. and Buffet service from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Dress will be informal. Cars may be parked in the playground. Tickets will cost £1.50. This price includes the total cost of the Buffet.
The main purpose of this function is to bring together for a festive occasion the parents of our boys and the teaching staff as well as other friends of the school. We presume that all your friends are friends of the school. We hope also that from now onwards old boys of the school beyond the age of the Upper Sixth will be able to attend. Tickets are on sale at the school. You may also order them by post. Cheques should be made out to "St. Augustines Grammar School Fund."
Yours sincerely
